Working Principle

Loaders are divided into two main categories: Wheel Loader and Crawler/Track Loader. The working principle of the mainstream torque converter mechanical transmission model is as follows:

Power Transmission Chain: The power output by the diesel engine is first transmitted to the torque converter, which amplifies torque automatically according to load changes, then transmitted to the transmission for speed and torque adjustment, and finally delivered to the driving wheels/drive sprocket via the drive system to drive the machine to travel and steer.

Working Device Action Logic: The engine also drives the hydraulic pump to operate; the output high-pressure oil enters the lift arm cylinder and bucket cylinder. The operator controls the cylinder extension and retraction via the control handle, realizing the lifting/lowering of the lift arm and the flipping of the bucket to complete working actions.

Standard Operation Cycle: During the loading phase, the lift arm lowers and the bucket flips to insert into the material pile; after filling the bucket, the lift arm lifts to the transport height, the machine moves to the unloading point, then the lift arm lifts and the bucket flips to unload the material, completing a full operation cycle. A single cycle usually takes only 8-12 seconds, with operation efficiency reaching 300-1000 tons/hour (depending on bucket capacity, material type and working conditions).

Supplement: Small-sized loaders mostly adopt hydrostatic transmission, where the engine drives the hydraulic pump to directly drive the travel motor and working cylinders, featuring higher transmission efficiency, easier operation, no mechanical transmission structure, and lower maintenance cost.

Crawler loaders drive the track to circulate via the drive sprocket, with low ground pressure, which can operate stably on soft, muddy, and complex mountain terrains, suitable for mining, muddy well sites and other scenarios.

2. Do you have crawler loaders for soft/muddy well sites?

Yes, our crawler loaders have a ground pressure as low as 0.4kg/cm², which can operate stably on soft, muddy drilling sites without slipping or subsidence, and also support low-temperature and corrosion-resistant oilfield customization.

3.What is the maximum rated load of the loader? Can it handle oilfield equipment transportation?

Our loaders cover a rated load range of 0.5t to 50t. For oilfield equipment transportation, we recommend models with a rated load of 5t or above, which can meet the needs of lifting and transporting drill pipes, cementing equipment and other drilling accessories. We can also customize high-lift arms for unloading into high-sided trucks or silos.

4.What is the maximum gradeability of the loader? Can it operate on plateau/low-temperature well sites?

The maximum gradeability of wheel loader models reaches 30°, suitable for most drilling site gradients. Plateau/low-temperature models support -40℃ environment start-up, and are equipped with high-altitude turbocharged engines to meet the operation needs of regions such as Siberia in Russia and Central Asia.

5.What is the fuel consumption and maintenance cycle of the loader?

The no-load fuel consumption of a 5t rated load model is about 6-8L/h, and the heavy-duty fuel consumption is about 10-12L/h; the常规 maintenance cycle is every 250 working hours. Wear parts such as bucket edge plates and hydraulic oil seals are globally available for easy procurement.
